Learn More About Joining Our Team

Who are we?

Caravan Vet is a locally-owned and independent, mobile veterinary practice rooted in caring: for our animal patients, human clients, and employees. It’s not always feasible for animals to travel to a clinic, which means our practice improves the lives of animals who may otherwise not have access to care. Our state-of-the-art mobile veterinary clinic enables us to take X-rays, perform surgeries and dentistry, run lab tests, and work with specialists in surgery, cardiology, and ultrasonography, all at our patients’ homes. We do this because patient comfort and client satisfaction are our highest priorities.

What does it mean to work at a mobile clinic?

Full-service care is the ultimate in pet care and enables deep connections with our clients.

Our team spends focused, devoted time with around eight clients and their pets each day. We see a wide variety of cases ranging from wellness visits to the management of complex internal medicine cases. Dr. Williams has a special passion for dentistry, and our anesthetic caseload is primarily dental procedures. Pain Management, Internal Medicine, Integrative Medicine, Dermatology, Behavior, and Cardiology are additional areas of interest for our doctors.

What mentorship and development opportunities are available?

As a low-stress-certified clinic, we will invest in paying for your time to complete the required coursework and testing to become low-stress handling certified. One of our core values is “expert,” which is lived out through participation in ongoing educational opportunities and sharing knowledge with our teammates. Working with Dr. Williams and Dr. Parks also allows for continuous formal and informal learning. They both hold specialized certifications and offer deep expertise. We are committed to helping all staff members achieve their professional goals. As a small, independent practice, we value and encourage each employee’s unique talents, perspectives, and areas of interest.

What else makes working at Caravan Vet special?

We take creating a healthy practice culture seriously and include yoga breaks and educational seminars at monthly staff meetings. Our entire Leadership Team has completed Brene Brown’s Dare to Lead 10-week leadership training program. Full-time benefits are offered starting at 30 hours worked per week and include paid time off, retirement plan contributions, and medical and dental insurance. Because we value a diversity of experiences, each team member receives training on non-biased communication. We strive to utilize direct communication and engaged feedback with each other, understanding that each of us is responsible for creating a positive, inclusive culture that makes work enjoyable.
