Dr. Williams is one of a kind. She is the perfect combination of knowlegable and approachable. Whether at a routine visit or for an acute concern, Dr. Williams treats her animal patients (and their families) with care, concern, and good humor. While well-versed in the full range of options and interventions for a pet's health concern, she understands that different families may have different approaches, so calmly and clearly explains all the options, even with after-hours phone calls. She delights in her work and could give some MD's lessons in effective bedside manner. And our "special" dog is quite simply nuts about her.

“A routine dental cleaning with Dr. Williams saved my dog's life! I took Java to see Dr. Williams for his very first cleaning on his 6th birthday. He'd always been a very healthy dog, so imagine my surprise when Dr. Williams found a tiny tumor in Java's mouth while she was cleaning his teeth. I was devastated when the tumor was found to be melanoma, but because it was so small and was caught early, Java was able to receive the least invasive treatment in a timely manner. Today, Java is cancer-free and healthier than ever!

I have been a client of Dr. Christa Williams for the last 7 years and I have always found her to be professional, knowledgeable, and compassionate. I have trusted her to make essential decisions about all my pets (5 cats and 1 dog), because she is so well informed, is a pet owner herself, and knows how important my pets are to me. "My cat was very sick when I took her to Dr. Williams. After saving my cat’s life, Dr. Williams patiently encouraged me to continue with a home treatment -- involving needles of all things! I was very skeptical, but she explained how cats can learn that the treatment makes them feel better. Amazingly, my cat cooperated and returned to her usual purring, troublemaking, and sprawling in front of the fireplace. During a week that we were out of town, Dr. Williams even made several house calls to treat my cat.
